Driving A Vxr8
7 Answers
My boyfriend's a complete petrol head and mentioned recently his long standing wish of being able to drive a vxr8. He's the very proud owner of an astra vxr and it never leaves the drive unless its absolutely immaculate. Anyway having looked on various circuit and track day sites I'm still no further forward in finding anywhere that currently has one. Maybe I'm not looking right I don't know, but basically what I'm hoping for is any help or information that could help me realise his dream before his birthday in October. Many thankyous in advance :-)

Best thing a VXR8 does is drift, whereas an Astra VXR just understeers. Try a skidpan course, I did one with Greater Manchester Police about 25 years ago in a very tail happy Vauxhall Chevette. As well as the knowledge of how to avoid stuffing it when it snows, I left that course grinning like a Cheshire cat.
