went to Ikea for bathroom and gardening stuff, decided we wanted something to eat on the way out,so got in the queue, they have they metal things so you stay in line, when I tried to turn the corner in my 'new'scooter,i got stuck,i tried to reverse,go forward ,but it was impossible, had to get out and son lifted it over the barrier, staff apologised but did,nt do anything.on our way out a chappie asked if we would do a 3 minute survey on our experience in the store,i told him what happened and he said I am phoning the superviser and try and get you compensation, she came and said she would phone me at home .how long do you think it will take for her to phone.(forgot to say the foam handles were mutilated, only had it a week)
^ I don't mean to say IKEA won't phone, but unless you gave all your details, it seems odd to deal with something like this by phone only. Did you get her name?
Sorry, Kate...I do hope you get some joy....they should be responsible for any damage I suppose....unless there was a warning notice....there may be now....x
Hi slinky.kate, hope everything gets sorted. Sorry you had such a bad experience. Hope the store comes good and gives you decent compensation for your scooter and stress.
I can see an experience like that putting you of kate, but it was not your fault, but the shops, I could see someone saying, '' that's it never again' bbut don't you do that, because you deserve your independence.
