I have a serious complaint against Argos and am getting nowhere with the customer service centre - I believe their MD is Sara Weller ... can anyone find me her email address before I go crazy?
Not the branch trt - agree they are good. The home delivery service - items arrived (bedroom furniture) and the quality is shocking, arrived a week late, order incomplete, and the wood is warped, and it's impossible to build - it's going back on Thursday (another day off work!!!) and a secretary in the MDs office has now been most helpful. Why the customer service (clue in the title) department couldn't help God only knows!!!! Shocking service!!
I, too, have a serious complaint against Argos, who basically sold me a broken printer where the serial number didn't match up against the one on the box - they refused to refund my money and basically accused me of switching the printer myself! All they did was walk off, having ripped off the corner of one of their catalogues and chucked it at me. Their CS department is U/s, but I found this on another forum - it's supposed to have been updated recently:

John Walden is definitely the guy to contact. If you search Google for Sarah Weller she stepped down over a year ago - and the store was going to the wall then. He only took over on the first of February, so maybe he can turn things around. Back story is here:
