can any 1 tell me how to get the multifunction display to work. The display is lit ,that's ok but when I press the button on the wiper stalk that go's through the various displays eg MPG ,Distance to empty, MPH, nothing happens . is there a fuse that links the button to the changing of the various functions. Any 1 with a xsara Picasso have this same problem and had it rectified ?

Hi. For my sins I also have a 03 xsara Picasso. Got it in 07 as the C5 went BANG and needed something in a hurry. Bloody thing has NEVER gone wrong and is the most economic, practical, reliable and totally dull car I have ever had. I think it knows that as soon as it breaks down its a gonna and therefore just keeps running. Any way.... to you question.
The display should always be lit and the stalk button simply scrolls through, or holding it in for 3-5 seconds resets the various counters. If the display is lit but its not sculling its a stalk issue. If all other displays are lit but not the multi - it could just be a bulb.

Hate the lack of ability to edit. Says sculling should say Scrolling.
