At The Movies

I was channel hopping last night and noticed that a film that i first watched when i was a teenager , was being shown .

I thought i would have a watch - then i noticed that it was in fact a remake of the original movie .

Anyway one of memories i have of the original movie , was the chant of the crowd which was -

'Jonathon , jonathon , jonathan .....'

1. Without googling - which i film am i referring to ?

2. What film and what event from the film do you particularily remember from your youth ?

Rollerball. Was going to watch that on TCM and forgot it was on.

I remember a scary TV film where a murderer was dressed as a female nurse and ran after a woman in a house calling her name: 'Stella' in a very menacing way. Does anyone know what this was called? Maybe it was a Hitchcock drama?

2) The King and I and South Pacific., the only two films i went to see apart from those at Saturday morning pictures, where I still remember The Tommy Steele Story..

2. Jaws, the bit where the camera is underwater looking up at the girl swimming in the dark. Still can't go out of my depth in the sea. :0)

OMG, thank you, The Winner. It (i)was(i) 'An Unlocked Window'. Just watched it now and it is still as scary as it was 40+ years ago! How did you know its name and what did you think of it, The Winner?

ellimay1. I haven't seen it. I just googled the information you gave us, and it came up. I will try and watch it when I have time if I can find a link somewhere.
