Or, via a command prompt, type


ipconfig


and enter. That'll give you the ip of your computer inside a network. I access t'internet via a router so this command gives me the ip address that the router assigns to my PC (which is different from the other PCs in the house).


It doesn't tell me the ip that the link, above, will tell you which is the one that the outside world will see. In my case, the ip address of the router.

Open network connections

Click on the connection

Click support.

As I use a wireless connection through a router, the first answer gives a false reading for me.
