Whit Friday Band Contest

We're off to watch the band contest at Greenfield tonight. If you've never been before and you live nearby, you should give it a go. Not just Greenfield. There's a contest at lots of venues, Delph, Uppermill, Denshaw, Lydgate, Springhead Mossley, Broadoak to name but a few. All the top bands are usually there. Grimethorpe, Brighouse, Faireys, Fodens, Black Dyke, YBS plus lots of bands from the continent. It's a fantastic British cultural event and everyone has a great time. If you go to Greenfield, look out for me wearing a cap that says
HMS Glorious. Give it a go! It's a fantastic family night.
