School Governor Comment

I have just had an email from my Former Chair of Governors informing me that she announced my (forced) resignation at a meeting yesterday telling me that she hopes in time that I will understand that "she had no alternative".

Doesn't this just say what things have come to. I believe that she did have alternatives like using common sense and warning me that what I said was unacceptable (which I fully accept).

Anyway I have resigned but I do despair about the future of our schools if this is allowed to happen.

Well Dave, I know it must leave a bitter taste but it is something you now have to move on from.

I do agree with your comment re the School though.

If you believed the action taken was wrong, why did you not let the Local Authority investigate it?
