Climbing Rose

I purchased a climbing rose a couple of months ago and got what I thought was a pink one fully labelled up. Now that the flowers are just about opening up they look red. Will these fade and turn pink or has B&Q messed up?

The buds can be a different shade from the actual rose - what sort of rose is it?

You're going to have to wait until one is fully opened....quite often buds on lots of plants look totally different to the open flower.

The kids have been playing out in the yard and have removed the label that came with the plant so sorry I may have to drop in at B&Q someday and see what it was.

Had a look at the pot it came in and it says on it climbing rose assorted it had a picture of a pink rose on it too.

Unless there was a label stating the name of the rose you probably have to take pot luck.

"assorted" probably means that it could be any colour.....
