That's good that he's going to be OK, the last I read was that he may never wake up.

i can't imagine he's going to be "ok" viv. He may be "out of a coma" but please don't imagine him sitting up laughing joking and eating steak and chips

He's out of the coma, being moved to a hospital in Switzerland and close to his home, the only undisclosed thing being how brain-damaged that he is at the moment....at least he is conscious, so at least one remains confident of a reasonable recovery.

The froggies were pretty out-spoken in the initial days and I think the family told them to button it.

we are left therefore with non-medical relations talking about complex medical events. No wonder we cant make head nor tail.

He is not in a coma which means that he is showing sleep-wake cycles.
Wake here means lying motionless with blinking.

we are taking about severe disability - which was predicable from the moment when they stopped the coma-inducing drugs and he didnt wake up for about a week....
