well I should have said 20 months, they only do half of it anyway.
I am not sure what is involved with arranging a surrogate birth. I suppose its safe to assume that it just doesn't involve answering an ad in the newsagents window, and then handing over the contents of your turkey baster, and a large wodge of cash. Should they be regulated in some way ?

I await more information on this with interest. I have no idea whether the sentence is OK or not.
I imagine that the sentence is somewhere in the ball-park for frauds of the figure she rooked out of her 'clients' and possibly the number of them.

The law wouldn't necessarily take account of the circumstances she used to facilitate the fraud.

If it were possible to add a period onto the sentence because of the sheer nastiness on her part, and heartbreak on her clients....I would welcome that.
Horrible woman, she richly deserves that and some more. The sheer heartlessness of her, taking people's money, in some cases money which had been saved for years with this sole purpose in mind and virtually irreplaceable, then to get people's hopes up only to dash them so cruelly. She's a really hateful piece of work and it is a shame that there isn't more could be done about her sentence because 40 months just doesn't seem adequate.
Nasty piece of work. Praying on peoples misfortunes like that really annoys me.

40 months fair, probably if it was all served; but it wont be.
