This is a 'how long is a piece of string' type of question (particularly because the way that 'nervousness' is displayed isn't explained in your question). So you're not going to get a precise answer based upon the limited information you've provided here.

However 'nervousness' is often synonymous with 'a lack of self confidence' (and/or 'self esteem'). A course of cognitive behavioural therapy ('CBT'), perhaps lasting somewhere between three months and two years, can help some sufferers.

to buenchico:im nervous so much compare to ordinary people.im nervous everytime there is a procedure to do such as injecting medication or just demonstrating clinical procedure or even just reporting or reciting how long will it take to cure my nervousness?does it take 2 years?1 year?pls.answer asap
That really depends on why you are nervous and your own personal make-up. if it is really bothering you why not seek help from a hypnotherapist.
At the end of the day its practice practice practice, only when you are totally confident so you can do the procedure in your sleep will your nervousness pass.
Ah - your post makes sense now - I didn't know if you meant nervousness as in anxiety, or nervousness as in lack of confidence. It ill come with time, and it's different in each of us. Are you newly qualified? presumably you have a registered nurse mentor or supervisio - you need to tell them now you feel, perhaps you need a bit more on-job supervision to help increase your confidence. This will help your patients feel more at ease, too.

don't you mean anxiety? if so, there are many different types, so you do need to be specific. general anxiety disorder (gad) is most common. go and wikipedia it and start from there. then come back with a proper question.

how about passion flower i heard it treats nervousness.how long do you think it will treat nervousness?
'Nervousness' simply isn't a medical condition in its own right. It's a symptom of something else, with anxiety being top of the list of the conditions that lead to it. In turn, anxiety is likely to arise through a lack of self-esteem. So it's the underlying causes of the nervousness, rather than the nervousness itself, which needs to be treated. I still think that CBT might be the best route to follow.

Herbal remedies (such as Valerian tablets or products which contain Valerian, like Kalms) can provide relief but other measures are needed to deal with the underlying causes.
Without being judgemental and only going by the tone of your replies, I think learning some relaxation techniques may help you.

It is normal early in a job to be apprehensive doing certain tasks, take a deep breath, remember what you have been taught and proceed.

It may take a little time but with patience you will gain confidence.
