i work in an office full of males and i have compliments all the time not been big headed doesnt mean they fancy me its just a way to boost a persons confidence especially a womans and men now how to compliment a woman which is flirting and nice gestures like saying your makeup matches your clothes today

agree with the first post. some men only know how to praise a woman by complimenting her dress or appearance. so they don't necessarily fancy you - they're just trying to be nice.

however if you've got a bright yellow top and matching eyeshadow a la chantelle, they might just think you look silly lol. (i'm sure you have more taste tho, so I bet they were being nice!)

Yellow! good lord no, green actually. never noticed it before. it was a comemnt made in a work environment not something very appropiate so thats why it made me think! x

I also used to get nice commments about my clothes, hair & make up, from my male boss & other male colleagues at work.

I didn't think of it as flirting, well okay, maybe with the odd one or two p'raps! I just used to smile, say thank you.

My female colleagues also used to give me nice comments too & I used to do & say the same to them.

You can usually tell if someone fancies you!

Its not just the compliments, its the look in his eyes coupled with the compliment that should tell you if he's flirting or just being nice, and if he;s flirting, he fancies you.

i think if he notices the clothes and make up, he is avoiding telling you that you are bloody gorgeous..i would say (from past experience) he most definately fancies you..but watch what you say in the emails...ive been down that road too and before you know it, you are breaking company rules and playing some very naughty games in the meeting room..so what..go for it babe!!!!

Oh i love it thanks guys! He's now gone on holiday, he emailed me yesterday asking me If i would miss him, after speaking on the phone for 25 minutes! oh it must be love! x
