I have an HTC Desire. Whenever I take a photo, a small satellite dish icon appears at the top of the screen, flashing briefly, then disappears. I've had the phone for 12 months, but this has only just started happening. Any ideas, anyone? TIA.

Try Settings > Location & security > Use GPS satellites > off?
If you have automatic updates then it's possible that the camera app has recently updated and, by default, has set an upload option.
