Quick thinking,it is ridiculous you have to go to these lengths for them to sit up and take notice,self diagnosis at it's best or worst,not everyone has these facilities to hand unfortunately.

She couldn't have done much worse coming onto AB for the opinion of our "barrel load" of medics.

Quite simple anne......medical opinions often come under severe criticism on AB and clearly this woman could not have done worse by posting on AB....................you never know someone may have made the diagnosis. OR certainly have suggested going to the pharmacist, GP, Walk in Centre or casualty.
