Can I ask you all to think before you give any advice to more "absent minded" phone owners?
who may have "forgotten" passwords

Or even less credible .....
"The network blocked my phone by mistake and now i'm not with them anymore so they won't help!"

Please please simply refer enquiries back to the manufacturer, the supplier of the 'phone .... or the original owner
(so long as the referral doesn't take place in a dark alley!)

At best these "found" phones are likely the result of a broken window .... they could just as easily be the result of a broken head.
