potty training my kitten

my kitten is now 7 months old and has been going outside for some time- he loves it! Thing is he wont 'go' outside ive had to get out the litter tray again how do i make him use the great outdoors as a loo?!

Put the litter tray or even better a piece of his poo (if you can stand it!) outside and put him by it and let him smell it etc. He will get the message. Be patient and consistant and everytime he goes to the toilet in the litter tray repeat it and when he goes outside treat him with a bit of ham or similar!!!!

are you enouraging him to crap in your own garden? that's fine I suppose, but once he learns to do that he'll be crapping in everyone elses too. I'd say he's a good li'l kitty to stick to the litter tray!!
