We're thinking of buying our daughter her first digital camera but only want to spend about 60 as she's only 11 and we want to see how she gets on with it. Can anyone recommend a particular make model and what to look for. I know we won't have much choice for this money, but its just a starter camera. Thanks.
Just make sure you put high capacity batteries in and good ones as it will be worth it in the end. She will forever be charging the cheaper ones as they wont last long. I use the uniross charger complete with 4 (2500mah) batteries and been in a few weeks now. 25 from argos.
Praktica do one for 60 pound at jessops.
Its 3mil pixels has a zoom and some basic features.
You will probably need a memory card but it looks good for what you need.
Happy snapping!
I brought an I.T. works digi camera about 18 months ago. I was a bit wary at first, because | had never heard of the make, but was reassured by the guy at Comet and I am really pleased with it. It was 80 for 3.1 megapixels.
