Can you please (pretty please?) translate these two sayings:

1. Cuimhnich co' leis a tha thu

(I think it means "Remember the men from whence you came")

But what does

2. "Cuimhnich air na daoine o'n d'thainig thu" mean?

"cuimhnich co' leis a tha thu" does mean
Remember the men from whence you came.

"Cuimhnich Air Na Daoine o'n D'thainig thu" means Remember the men from whom you are sprung.

But there does seem to be a bit of comfusion about the translation. I've seen it translated as "Remember the men from whence you came" and also "Remember the men from whom you have come"

But the sentiment is the same so I guess there can't be that much of a difference.

I thought perhaps the second one included something about women....
