Land Rover / Jeeps For Dogs?

are there any Land Rover / Jeep style vehicles with low-to-the-ground backs that are suitable for carrying dogs in? It is vital the back isn't too high off the ground, as we're talking bout a heavy dog with short legs and a delicate spine.

None that I know of, does it need to be a 4X4?

Maybe build a ramp for the dog to walk up?

in what way do you mean landrover/jeep style All the off road types tend to have high clearance because they need it for rough travel. Things like the suzuki jimney are lower but still a jump in. If you aren't bothered about overland and having 4x4 then take a look at the suzuki wagon which isn't designed to off road but has low clearance.

Subaru, Skoda and Volvo, to name just three, all do 4x4 Estates which are only slightly higher than average,
