Can a case be dropped at the PCMH if the defence can show that the prosecution case is weak?

The hearing is to help the administration of the trial (length of court time needed, witnesses needed to attend, etc.). The evidence is not usually examined.

time and a place - and the time and place for rubbishing the prosecution is the case itself.

and even then, ( acquittal ) [ in the case I am thinking of, acquittal followed in eight minutes ] the prosecution who of course are not using their own money as you would be, still dont take the point.
