Ev 1129

No, I haven't posted to say "Wow, I've finished it", I am as usual blundering along wondering what on earth is going on.
What I have posted to say is "Where has everyone gone?" This used to be such an active friendly site which not only gave obscure and friendly hints (sometimes more imaginative than the actual clues) to we lesser mortals. Not only that, there was a really good craik about life in general in our various areas, weather, jokes, amusements, family, advice, all of which made doing the EV even more of a pleasure. Has fun been banned here too?
All the old N & Cers, Docs b & HH, Joglers, copelander, novalis, ruthrobin, christina + anyone I have left out - where are you?

How's your apple crop Christina? Mine is very sparse this year, also the sloes which were covered in blossom have hardly a berry to show for it, those blessed bees were cowering in their hives with mittens on I reckon! However, the courgettes, spuds and peas are doing their best to overload the freezer and clamp, can't be bad.
Now the end of the week and the clever clogsis will have sent off their 1129 and the dunces (Me) will be plodding on with the final few, but have to say it has been very uplifting to have the N & C back, must send out smoke signals to our missing Docs..........continued next week....I hope.

Hi dd - I'm plodding along in the rear as well - the hint didn't seem to help. My garden has gone berserk this year - and the apples are more numerous than ever. Unfortunately this sudden overabundance coincided with a further visit from some prospective purchasers. The husband gazed around in horror, having seen it previously in the spring when it was comparitively tame, and said he didn't think he could cope with it all as he wasn't getting any younger. (I estimated that he was at least 10 years younger than me).
