Does anyone know what the single button is just in front of the drivers side window controls switches are used for? It looks like a half open window with a cross through. I have tried pressing it but haven't noticed anything happening.
I have looked through the manual and there is no mention of any window controls
Thank you

Probably a child lock to stop kids opening windows when they shouldn't.
Does to lock the windows?

WINDOW LOCK BUTTON

check on rear windows
As above but will only operate on the rear windows.
With the ignition on, press the button then, from the back seat, try to open the rear window. If it opens, press the button again, then try back windows again.
One position should lock the rear windows.

Thank you that makes sense - will check whenI 'm next out. Haven't got kids and the dog isn't up to opening the windows - yet
Sue don't bet on it. If I don't lock the windows in my car and the dog sits up looking out of the side windows, he can very easily inadvertently put his paw on the opening button. Found this out when I was in the fast lane of the M1 and realised suddenly he was half out of the window.

Did you ^ mean the Overtaking Lane?
;-)
Sorry B, that's exactly what I meant, slip of the finger, sorry:-)
Don't touch it! It's the ejector seat!
