Thanks for that, Ed. It tickled me, also. I watched it twice, because at first I thought that the dog was some kind of clockwork contraption, but it looks real enough!
My godmother had a pug when I was little. All I remember about it is that it snuffled a lot, she insisted that it sat beside her on the sofa, and it farted a lot.
You should see a Wolfhound come down the stairs!! a terrifying ordeal for all concerned, one of ours has mastered it but not the other two, the problem being, especially with steep stairs is that they are so long that the front half is halfway down the stairs before the back end is required to move, thus the back end is at risk of going over the top and overtaking the front. Going up isnt a problem, two bounds and there up there.
Nah, I can recall that it was definitely the dog, the - er - whiff followed it. My dad reckoned that it had a squashed bottom to match its squashed puggy face....
when our shar pei was a baby he learnt to climb the stairs but not get back down, so he used to stand at the top and cry until someone rescued him, then do it all over again.
