........ a lovely hot sunny day here in cambridgeshire (just perfect for the carnival i went to)

but now i can hear the rumbling of thunder in the distance

Hot hot hot day on the bike - but just got a good rinsing - at least it has washed the bugs off the visor ...
Well I've got a few glasses do white wine down mrs Z, so could be the same here.
Beautiful indeed. We broke our journey and ate scones at Houghton Mill!
It's been dismal here in South Kent - drizzle a.m., overcast all day but very heavy and headachy. However - not cold.

Twenty-seven and sunny in the Toronto area. I might just have go and cool off with a beer or three in a while.

Been in Sandwich this afternoon, a 'Morris & Wine' festival, warm and dry, a good time was had by all!
Lovely hot sunny day here in Yorkshire, it became cloudy about 4pm but still warm. Forecast rain later tonight, and all day tomorrow :(
Just came back form Tewkesbury Medieval Festival, really, really hot there, but a lovely day.

Hi excel it was lovely, just stupidly hot and I spent more money than I meant to ;-)
Gray and dreary down this way,with constant fine drizzle for the past few hours. Better tomorrow hopefully.

Peter Alberti and Douglas Bryce were outstanding surgeons in a first class hospital.......particularly Bryce.

I am taking a chance by saying, probably one of the best centres in the world.
Hot here. Been painting fences all afternoon and then we had a rumble of thunder.
Strange that you should post that, Sqad. About 5 years ago I was operated upon by a Dr Patrick Gullane of the Princess Margaret Cancer Hospital, Head and Neck Clinic. The op took place at Toronto General. An excellent team. Sorry for hi-jacking, excelsior-1.
