On Bail For Section 18
Hi I am a 19 year old male last night I was out for a mates bday and we went to play a game of pool and there was these other 2 lads playing pool who we asked if we could have a go after them and they said yes fine so we sat there and waited for them to finish there game and then one of them started getting really aggressive and saying he will have as many goes as he wants and getting right into my face and then his mate started saying stuff acting like he was going to hit me with the pool que and he then did in the face and then he hit my friend with it aswel braking the pool que in half so then we backed off a little bit and he started approaching again like he was going to start beating me again with a pool que so I threw a glass at him not meaning to hit his face but it did and cut his lip and then the police got involved and the two lads were being quite aggressive with the police aswel and I was really polite and compliment with them but I have admitted to hitting him in the face with the glass and now I am on bail am I going to get sentenced or is there a good chance I will get off with self defence?

Ok. I apologise. We, however, only have your side of the story. People can only judge the outcome based on your version of events. There are always two sides to a story and asking answerbank to determine what the outcome will be is like asking a jury to make a verdict biased on the defence's evidence only.
I think ZM has used a lot of space to say:
we have to wait and see.
and yes I still think self-defence is the defence to run in the event of being charged.
Meanwhile work on self-improvement: by saying to yourself, " I can go out and get drunk... but I cant get involved in fights - I Must Walk on by....."
We all do thith Jacobth usually without a court case.....
