Raf Llanbedr.
I saw on the BBC News that the former RAF Station Llanbedr sited on the Cardigan Bay coast in North Wales may be selected as a launch site for future space travel.I was stationed there 19/48-49 during my National Service days.It was regarded as one of the best UK postings.
I have fond memories of the camp at the mouth of the River Artro between the mountains of Snowdonia and the broad expanse of sands of the bay.
I often think of my fellows and wonder where they are today.
