I never used to have this problem. Now, when I speak to people, I will try and say a certain word like "impossible." And I'll be like, "imposs", "impo", "impossible!" is this normal? It takes me normally 3-4 tries to get the word right. This has only been happening in the past few weeks. I'm 16. It normally happens with hard-ish words. Although it can happen with simple words too.
Yes this is absolutely normal for a 16 y o I remember doing it myself. Youu're at an age where you are learning a lot fo new words and also more complex ways of using them. It will straighten itself out. and look I can't even spell " you're " and I am 61.... Try reading some Dickens

I agree with shoota. Perhaps you are trying to speak how you would text.
Why not try what people with a stammer do, think about what you want to say and pause before you speak This might help.
