Sparrows

I have noticed this year a sudden increase in the house sparrow...they were quite rare but their population must be booming! :)

Same here. Not seen a thrush in years though.

I read an article earlier this week saying sparrows had almost completely disappeared (only 1 colony) from central London. No more cockney sparrows:(

I don't know about sparrows but this is the first time in years that I've seen more then half a dozen swallows on the telephone lines.This week there's been twenty-thirty everyday.
