i have uninstalled old java and reinstalled java onto my windows computer but when I go to play games in POGO it still saying java is not installed ,but when I click on check for updates its telling my computer is fully up to date with the latest version of pogo, so why wont the games in pogo work ?

Check that you have the latest version of Java:
https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp

If you have and it still doesn't work, maybe a reboot might help.
If that doesn't help, maybe the problem lies with pogo ??

Try uninstalling Java again. Then RESTART YOUR COMPUTER before reinstalling it. (That seems to be necessary to force Windows to update the registry properly).
