Did Anyone Get The Storm Last Night?

It was like having the paparazzi in the sky. Amazing. Thunder was really loud.

Downside was it started about 2:30am....and it set car alarms off that seemed to go on forever....

It also set off one of the Broadmoor sirens for three hours, I pity the patients and the local residents who were disturbed long after the storm :-(

about 1am so maybe it was heading north. Very long and loud, wasn't it.

We'd just come back from the Rockies, where they'd had a lot of storms, mostly lat in the day or at night. We'd driven along a gravel road at one point and the rental car was filthy so we were waiting for a good storm to wash it clean but it failed to do so and we had to do it ourselves. At least our own cars out front are sparkling now.

We were staying in Stratford Upon Avon last night and had the most spectacular storm I have ever witnessed. It went on for a few hours and struck old Shakespeare's church spire!

We only had a few rumbles here from around 8pm that I heard...but Sally was trembling upstairs well before that. Not sure what's in store tomorrow.
