Good Morning Early Birds!

Wednesday. Got a charter today, but not until 1400, so no need to rush too much.
Misty this morning, but warm.
When the boaty game in.
Things are settling nicely now. Still a little bit more alertness, but all going about their usual legal or illegal occasions as the case may be. The badgers mostly still out and about, so that was a good sign, the older ones were around the sett nattering, just like little old people. They looked at me then ignored me, so that is good. :o} The rookery sentries were already on guard, and beady eyes watched me go by. Too misty to see if the deer were on the hillside, but no roe deer were down on my patch. The lady keeps an eye on them, they are too far away for me. The pair of foxes were playing tag chasing each other about and having fun. The dawn chorus is in fine voice despite the mist, one of my favourite sounds. The squirrels seem to have taken up residence in the wood, I don't often see them, it's a bit too early when I'm about, but one was out, moving round the tree with one beady eye pepping round as I went by.
I wasn't able to see the ISS go over just after four because of the mist.
Tiggy was in at just after 10 last night, on his own, but he did carry a biggish bit of ham fat away with him. Foxy was late, his food was still there when I went out, but was gone when I got back.
Have a happy day everyone.
