I never knew what whiskers looked like but his favourite 'food' was 'drinking jelly'.
My granddaughter just turned 4 now, had imaginary pets called 'woofs' when she was around 3. We had to make sure all her 'woofs' were with us before we could go anywhere. There were anything from 2 to 7 woofs depending on her mood.

Yes, as a child , I had Kenneth and Sylvia. They were fairies and I SAW them and talked to them. I made a house for them out of an old cardboard box and put doll's house furniture inside for them. I KNEW they had been and visited because in the morning, all the furniture had been moved around. I was sooo happy. It was only, MANY years later, that my older cousin(by 11 years) admitted moving the items so that I would believe it had been caused by the visiting Kenneth and Sylvia. Goodness knows where I got those names from. I was a child growing up in the 50s in Edinburgh. We didn't have fancy names like that. Maybe THEY told me! Who knows eh?

Yeah I had a friend called 'Carrot', he used to live by the big tree at the end of our garden at the one house we lived at. He wasn't exactly a human, but he wasn't an animal either and he wasn't always there. I couldn't get him to move far from the tree but I could communicate with him, although he didn't talk, I was very little though probably under 4 and I cant remember exactly how he looked now other than thin.
No but my daughter claimed to have one from about 3 until 10 or so. She wasn't a friend but a fairy and was a bit spooky as she only visited in the middle of the night and also used to go and visit my mother when she was asleep. My mother was convinced this was a ghost/spirit. I once asked my daughter what this fairy's father did - amazingly sweet answer - he lives in the sky and pushes the clouds around.
