Crikey, I spent Weds afternoon on the beach as it was my day off working through all these and doing them all in the end, didn't realise that I needn't have bothered! Actually didn't do the ones where you have to fly for the holidays as I don't like flying and I don't expect you can transfer prizes.

I thought the fun part is in doing them though, yogasun, and you had that pleasure. I'm not sure struggling through these if you don't enjoy them in the hope of winning a prize is an effective way of earning money/TVs/holidays as there are so many entrants including some professional entrants who'll submit dozens of entries with answers taken from sites like the one in my link.

Yes factor, I like to think that in doing these type of puzzles I might in some very small way help prevent the onset of any potential dementia, keeping my brain active. No guarantee but I think both mental and physical activity are important as you age. I like to try cryptic crosswords as well.

You are right, I sent mine in, someone's got to win! Waste of a stamp really though could have entered on line I suppose!
