just got back from cambridge, where i had to get a new mobile - as mine decided to start malfunctioning

i popped in to marks & spencer to pick up something to eat this evening and saw 'pineapple and coconut gateaux'

it's in the fridge now, i can't wait to try it later - would anybody like a piece?

I've just had blackberries and cream, nothing like fat fresh blackberries, picked by my own fair hand :-)

I've just realised it's still July, and blackberries are ripe. When I was a child, there was always a Sunday in early September when we went blackberrying. They're all done and dusted by September these days!

I agree -coconut milk is lovely, but the grated coconut meat isn't tasty, and is hard to swallow

Venator - when I was in M&S I was tempted to buy coconut milk - is it very fattening.

Errrr - would the coconut milk be the same as the stuff coming from a broken coconut. If so, I like it.
