no its not "rowing" as its already used in another answer! that being" arrow in general direction" 6 letters?Unless i've got that wrong as well! HELP!

Rowing has been given as the answer to both questions previously. Any possibility of a setter's error?

I'm not 100% sure that rowing is right for the other one. It is hidden in the clue (arROW IN General...) but I'm not sure why 'direction' is used in the clue

I have been trying to find something ending in N, E,S or W, but darts is only 5 letters. I assume POINTS is not a port- but can answer be simply 'sports related'
