I refute any allegations that it was my fault. The underpass is built over the underground Teville stream. Honest!

Daisy, you did say that your garden needed water badly.
Question Author
Not close enough to the station for it to be a help!
You did get some rain though ?.
Question Author
Yes, but patchy, water butt now full, end of garden (not very long) fairly dry.
Disappointed, no hail.
Why are you disappointed about not getting any hail ?.
We had all yours here in B&H Daisy. Frightening it was at 6am this morning, thought our block had been struck but it was Hove Station apparently. Dog was terrified. Every plum on my wee plum tree was lacerated by the hailstones, all ruined. Garden flooded, plants flattened, but water butt full.
Question Author
Bad luck ladybirder, hope the poor dog has recovered. Not much hope of the plums recovering.
Question Author
Tony, it is so unusual here. Needed a change of weather.
glad to hear you weren't washed away Daisy. Nice of Mother Nature to fill your water butt up for you though.
Ah, right I see, Daisy.
