It wasn't too hard to work out the thematic entry method of the various clues, but it was certainly very tough to piece it all together and work out what was going on. In the end I spotted what was to be highlighted before I understood why, but it's obviously rather more satisfying to have finally cracked the theme of a very tricky little puzzle. Well done Jaques.

This was tricky, and I worked backwards from spotting words I thought might be candidates for highlighting in order to find the quotation (which is easy to find online if you don't have a copy of ODQ5). There seems to have been a little run of trickier EVs, although I am not complaining.
