He shot her, despite her telling him she was pregnant. He shot her in the back, she was unarmed but he still hasn't been charged by the Police !

I don't think anyone is saying that reasonable or proportionate force should not be used for self-defence but when that turns into attack, that is where we differ. If I were mugged in the street, I would be allowed to defend myself. If the assailant left the scene but I followed him and severely or fatally injured him, is that self-defence?

In America lots of people have guns, and they're generally not afraid to use them. If you don't want to get shot, don't break into people's houses.

I have no sympathy whatsoever for the woman, and I hope the man is either not charged, or acquitted.
