Good Morning Early Birds!

Thursday. Clear sky a little bit cooler this morning, needed my jacket for walkies. I watched the ISS go over. I always think 'I'd like to be on that.' :o}
Foxy not in again. It could be that one of the neighbours has blocked of his way in. I hope it's that.
Lots of activity in wildlife land. Owls on the hunt, one flew quite close to me, silent and beautiful.
some very young badgers out under the watchful eyes of the older ones. one of them is a blonde, well, a sort of tan and white, rather rare. A little further on something snuffling about in the undergrowth, one of badgers foraging I think as it took no notice of me. Too early for the squirrels to be up and about. Something that looked a bit like stoat legging it across the ground towards the woods. Having good night vision comes in handy. didn't see any deer this morning, but the foxes were out on the hunt. I very rarely hear them though.
A bit too early for the dawn chorus as it was still too dark when I got back home, but I can hear them tuning up now, the blackbird is leading as usual.
I've got a charter today, an onboard picnic. They can be good fun!
I had an email yesterday from a good friend inviting me for a day out on his boat with him and his wife. We've settled on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to that. Their house in on the canal bank in Gloucester.
Have a happy day everyone.
