My 'local' pub is closing tomorrow, I have been a customer for the last 37 years. Not really a question more a moan. What the hell am I going to do now? We used to have 11 pubs in my small town now we are down to 4 and the nearest is over on the other side of town, too far to walk at 3 miles away.
The Pool and darts teams will be homeless from tomorrow as well both the other pubs that have a pool/darts team play in the same league so they can't have 2 home teams.

My 'Local' was £2.50 a pint and the Weatherspoons is £1.99 for 'Ruddels Bitter ' or £2.45 for the guest beers. it is not the price it is the atmosphere that is just not the same in a 'Spoons'
We only get £2.50 a pint on Wednesdays in our local!
