Primary Scratch Volume

just installed photoshop, tells me to adjust primary scratch vloume as it's set as the same as windows - any help with this?

Not used Photoshop but a quick search on the web gives a few hints

I think if your PC has more than one hard disk it is best to have your temporary photoshop directory on a different hard disk to the one with Windows on it.

If you have only got one hard disk I guess you have no option.

Not sure if photoshop will still work OK though.

helpfulguys answer is spot on, although photoshop will work perfectly well with only one hard disk.
It is only top end users that are going to benefit from this function and you can ignore it.
It won't ask again.
