Help With Desktop !!

Hello

I was messing about with my desktop colours and now all is as before BUT.....when I go into explorer or any pages I can see a faint 'ghost' background of the desktop mostly at the top of the screen which is annoying me!

How can I get it back to how it was.

Not sure what has occurred but I wonder if the PC has run out of resource.

Is it still the same if you reboot ?

Before you try that, have you attempted to go back to the standard colour scheme ?

It sounds like you've got the transparancy enabled. If that's the case and you're using Windows 7, to change it right-click on your desktop, click Personalize, click on Window Color at the bottom and then untick the "enable transparency" box.
