Hi sqad, I hope you are well and having a great summer.
Well just wondering if I could pick your brains? Daughter (42) had a terrible pain in her lower back last week, next day down her whole back. Tuesday her husband had to call for an ambulance becasue it was hurting her to breath and she was in agony with a pain from the front to the back in her heart region. Went to hospital heart ok..so they thought Gall Stones....still in awful pain and yesterday she had a scan and x ray..Nothing picked up on either..and her blods are fine....So now she has to go back for a endoscopy (Hope that is the right one...down her throat ) some time when they send an appointment. They have given her Omerprazole. She is still in pain today.? Would you have any ideas?? I have thought of an ulcer but would like to know what you think. Many thanks Brenda xx

I must say that gall stones do come to mind as does the pain of a gastric ulcer. X-Rays and scans seem to rule out gall bladder problems as well as kidney stones.
I cannot think of a better diagnosis than yours of a gastric ulcer, but and endoscopy will soon sort that out.
You mention that she is still in pain today.....where is the pain?
