^^^ That makes it sound like I think the green river killer and Bundy are the same person, I didn't mean it to come across that way. I know they are separate serial killers.
Skinners Festival by Quintin Jardine
Just started (again) To Kill A Mockingbird
Nowhere to Hide by Lee Child. Got hooked on his books a few months ago and am on about the 6th. Peter May books sound good so may give them a try. There are so many great authors about and so little time to read them!
Just finished the Cranford Chronicles by Elizabeth Gaskell...so for a bit of light relief I am reading a Ruth Rendell Inspector Wexford mystery...No Mans Nightingale.
Yes, Daffy, it is about the Green River killings.
Strange, Gary Ridgway, who committed the crimes, lived less than a mile from Ann Rule's home, and had also attended her book signings!
The True History of the Black Adder: The Unadulterated Tale of the Creation of a Comedy Legend, by J. F. Roberts. Got it ages ago in WH Smith, along with a couple of Autobiographies; Arnold Schwarzenegger's (Which doubles as a workout tool!) and DJ Danny Baker's.

Great fan as well. Have you read Philippa Gregory's Wideacre series? No.1 is WideAcre, absolutely riveting, then The Favoured Child, even better, couldn't put it down, and third is Meridon, which I'm waiting for at the library.Enjoy Peter May !
Quintin Jardine is brilliant too
Concrete Blonde by Michael Connelly.
Daffy, I have Bite ready and waiting on my kindle, was it a good read?
I'm currently reading Wednesdays Child by Peter Robinson. Only just started it, seems ok up to now.
I've just joined BookBub, literally in the last half hour. Anyone else in it? They send emails about free and/or cheap books to download to various devices each day.
I joined bookbub ages ago...in spite of checking it for months, I never found anything I wanted.
Black Swan Green by David Mitchell- interesting so far.

You're all making me feel shallow- i only usually read for light relief and escapism. Have read the Philippa Gregory (and Wideacre series). Just finished Pillars of the Earth and World Without End for about the third time. Just picked up a Marian Keyes (for the 100th time);D. Looking for a psychological thriller. Any recommendations? Have read"Before I go to Sleep" and a few of Sam Hayes...
I only read on holiday and then I only read trash - I choose by cover and font (which makes it tricky if I am using my Kindle). This year there was a load of books left behind by other people so I just read their choice of trash.
ethandron, Bite was a good read, some minor mistakes in it that a good proofreader could have spotted, other than that it was interesting, fast paced, quite violent, and to some degree also thought provoking.
Oh well pasta, I'll give it a go and see. Maybe it's a bit how I've found the free amazon kindle books...not worth taking up space on my kindle with them. I really love the daily deals though, my kindle's choc a block with them.
Thanks daffy, glad I bought it then :)
