Not sure if the facing type cameras flash. Was anything going past you in the opposite direction? and were their markings on your side of the road?

The gatso type camera that flashes does not detect oncoming cars so you should be ok.

Facing type cameras don't flash oncoming cars. They used to when they were first introduced but drivers rightly complained that it caused a distraction and rendered them temporarily blind if driving at night thus causing a major potential hazard. Chances are it flashed a car travelling in the opposite direction. True about the bike mdoo98, watch out for the mobile speed traps tho with the man in the van. I read in MCN that they have cameras in the front to catch the likes of us bikers.
