OK I haven't watched any of the BBC coverage of the Commie Games.

However, like Maggie bell sweet Annie Lennox's voice is waning. Kylie was the better option. The important thing is to remember that when you hold the Commonwealth games it's not all about the host nation and the narcissistic ambitions of it's leader to become the first PM of an independent Scotland, it's actually about the British Commonwealth. Kylie, for better or worse, in the absence of Celine Dion (what a beautiful name to have) was the biggest star the Commonwealth could come up with.

As for the proclaimers- they're Hibs fans- there could have been some disturbances from the crowd!!!
