Boxy...you have no idea how over the top I went with hygiene when MrG had no immune system....

I am loads better now....I no longer disinfect money...☺...but some habits still linger....

then the mere fact that most of us survive means it can't be THAT catastrophic. (will now confess to my pet 'thingie' - loo seat must be down when it's flushed as I believe millions of particles are released into the room otherwise - and my toothbrush is nearby!!!!) my t/brush has a cover!!!!!

too much cleaning now a days thats why kids have all the allergies
not enough exposure to natural bacteria to build up immunity

My view is that most of us survive far better being exposed to a good crop of germs each day - I refuse to be paranoid about it. I can understand your situation at the time, gness - and those others caring for the sick - but in day to day life, reasonable exposure is (IMO) not a bad thing.

I can understand someone in Gness's situation having to be super careful, that's perfectly legitimate, but other than that I think we all ought to just get on with it, we can usually co-exist with germs relatively well and I'm not going to get all hyper and disinfect everything and everyone I come into contact with, I'm just chillin' with my heath hazard laptop which I last cleaned around about May ( maybe).
