I got on to the bus and showed my bus pass to this tall handsome driver who said " This can not be true. Surely you are not old enough for one of these. You must have borrowed it from your granny" He then leapt off the bus and ran through the traffic and came back holding a dozen red roses for me.
Right, now back to the real world! I walked to town (must do my 10,000 steps a day) and was met by a very old man, who for some reason, wanted to tell me that both his legs were bandaged, and proceeded to roll up a trouser leg.Didn't stay long enough to find out what his problem was. In town I was greeted by a man dressed as a hippo, who was advertising beds. I refused the offer of a balloon! I caught the bus home, clutching my Sainsbury's bag on my lap and now I have to get my husband's tea. And they reckon that the youngsters have all the fun!! :)
