Nose Piercing

I've always wanted my nose pierced but have never gone through with it. My now ex-OH was always against (although he got a tattoo last year). I'm now 41 and really want to go ahead with it. What do you think? Left nostril or right?

I have mine on the right and generally wear a small diamond in it although I have very small silver mouse and a few others but all stud types I'm not sure I like rings much.

I think lots of chocolate is better than a piercing when a relationship ends !

Bliddy hell, some rare old opinions here.
When I had mine done, the chappie said 'go for your chocolate box side".
We all look better from either the left or right.
There are a few types of jewellery to pop in, I mostly use the right angled one, but if you want something more stable, ask about a piggy tail, it is really comfy.

I think a nose piercing is like any other addition to your appearance - it may suit you, it may not.

I think for Western women, the point to take into account is the shape of your nose.

A lot of Asian women have beautiful aqualine noses, and a stud or piercing looks attractive.

Quite a lot of Western women have noses that are utterly unsuitable to piercing, and piercing only adds attention to an already less attractive feature.

So, have an objective look at your face, and figure out if a piercing will really enhance your appearance - to you, not to anyone else, you have to see it in the mirror every day.

But bear in mind, the are an eastern accoutrement for a good reason - Western noses often don't suit them.
